Speed

By making differential and incremental backups, the volumes of traffic sent are optimised; this means that the transmission speed of the backups is very high, independently of the means of access that we use (STN, ISDN, ADSL, GPRS, etc.).

The use of incremental backup technology means that only the portions of the files that have changed are sent, without the need to retransmit the whole file once again. The advantages of using this type of backup are obvious, especially with large files such as e-mail files, proprietary applications, etc.

Recovery of backups

In the event that information is lost, Banckup offers the user a simple backup recovery service within the shortest possible period of time, in order to minimise financial loss caused by the shutdown of operations.

If the entire system is lost, we offer a service through which we will deliver to your offices, within the agreed period of time, a complete backup of your system data on the magnetic medium of your choice (e.g. CD-ROM).

Compatible and scalable

Our software has been approved for Windows 2000, Windows 2003, Windows 2003 Server and Windows XP. Furthermore, it offers functionalities in any OS that supports Java. The backup capacity grows according to the needs of the client.

128-bit encryption and data
compression

Through the client software, we will encrypt and compress your data by means of a private password that only you will know. The data, encrypted with a 128-bit algorithm, is transmitted forming a kind of "tunnel" from your workstation to our server, and it is stored in such a way that in the hypothetical event that someone should gain access to this information, they would never be able to decrypt the contents of the file without the correct password.

Authentication

Only registered users will have access to their own data. Our authentication module is proprietary and unique in the world (CS/CODE technology).

Firewall

All the lines of communication of our clients converge on a firewall system that guarantees the total privacy of your data. Additionally, this system rejects all possible intrusions into both the primary and the secondary backup system. Your two backups will be completely secure in our "data bank".

Data Centers

In order to guarantee the availability of our systems, all our equipment will be located in rooms with "Data Center" infrastructure equipped with the strictest measures of physical security (staff access control, fire-resistant systems, etc.) and continuity measures (UPS, double power supply, etc.).

Host

"Superscalable" systems based on SAN storage networks, which work in parallel to offer you nominal capacities of up to 220 TB each. We have chosen the principal manufacturers of server and of storage and communication systems as our equipment suppliers, in order to offer our clients the most up-to-date technology in this environment: storage cabinets configured in RAID 5 with standby discs, SAN fibre networks without single failure points, and software systems that support the management, modification and monitoring of all the hardware elements are some of the strong points of what we have no doubt in calling our "data bank".
